FINAL PERSEVERANCE
|

Procession to Eternal
Life
|
Draw me after
you, let us run in the fragrance of your anointing
oils, O heavenly Spouse! I will run, and not grow
tired, until you bring me into the cellar of wine,
until your left arm is under my head and your right happily embraces me, and you kiss me with the
most sweet kiss of your mouth.
-Song of Songs
|
I bend my
knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, with
the supporting merits of the glorious Virgin, his
holy Mother Mary, and of our most blessed Father
Francis and of all the saints, that the Lord himself
who gave a good beginning would give increase and
also give final perseverance throughout all time.
Amen.
-Testament of our Mother Saint Clare
